Thin Film Expert – MEMS Process & Deposition Technologies (f/m/div.)
Aufgaben
Become part of our team and actively contribute to the continued expansion of our fully automated 300 mm semiconductor manufacturing line in Dresden.
As a MEMS Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the pre-development of innovative thin film single processes and process modules for highly advanced future sensor applications on 300 mm wafers:
- Own the development, adaptation, and implementation of novel thin-film processes and technologies (e.g., evaporation, CVD, ALD) for MEMS applications in a 300 mm environment
- Drive the transfer of new MEMS processes and equipment from research into a highly automated 300 mm production line
- Build and manage strong collaborations with research institutes (for fundamental development) and equipment suppliers (for industrialization up to high-volume manufacturing)
- Lead feasibility studies, economic evaluations, and cost comparisons of new processes, technologies, and equipment, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility, capacity requirements, and future manufacturing needs
- Take full ownership of planning, executing, and evaluating experiments, including coordinating required analyses in close collaboration with the team, front-end manufacturing, and overall process integration
- Contribute as a key expert within an interdisciplinary team, closely collaborating with front-end manufacturing and overall process integration
